Native to Mexico, Nicaragua.
A stiff plant similar to the Caput Medusae or Bulbosa. What makes it different is its striped leaves. When blooming it produces a lavender bloom with purple petals. Grown in higher light these can color purple. They have a light, silvery green foliage when not in blush.
They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.
